Nashville helper with Bethany and Josh

Sometimes the smallest voices carry the biggest hearts.

I'm Bethany, and I've spent years writing children's books about a little mouse who makes a big impact. But somewhere along the way, I realized something profound: I am the mouse.

I'm little. I'm squeaky. And sometimes I feel insignificant in this big old world—like the mountain is too high for little old me to climb. But that's exactly what our stories are about: little things making a big difference.

And that's why we're here today—to tell you about TEEM Haiti.

We're not strangers to this orphanage. We personally know five beautiful children who were adopted from TEEM Haiti. They're part of our extended family now—children who were given hope, education, and a future because of the incredible work happening in Haiti.

Two years ago in Nashville, one of the young women adopted from TEEM Haiti came to help us at a book fair. She stood beside us, selling books, sharing her story, and showing the world what's possible when a little mouse decides to make a difference.

TEEM Haiti isn't just an orphanage—it's a promise. A promise that every child deserves education, nourishment, and the tools to build their own future. Through their bakery program, they're creating food for the children and teaching sustainable skills. Through education, they're opening doors that might otherwise stay closed forever.
